X+Y - Review

I was looking forward to this movie about an autistic boy who is a math genius played by Asa Butterfield. Asa is brilliant in the role, supported by Sally Hawkins as the mother and Rafe Spall as his teacher who prepares him from the international math Olympiad. I found it quite delightful to see how the movie explored autism from the perspective of the boy, as well as those around him. His preparation for the Olympiad, helped by the Rafe Spall’s teacher, who also used to be a young math prodigy, is basically his journey as he learns to interact with those around him.

I would really recommend this movie if it hopefully gets release.
