Tour de London - Day 1
With circumspect excitement I headed to Hyde Park today with the witch and my uncle. The park is right across from her college where, like Indian folklore, her classmates spend much time stalking their prey in the trees. But I digress.
Unlike last time, when I spent about 40 minutes here, we had two hours at our disposal and we went to a different part of the park - the serpentine lake. Definitely a calm and relaxing part of the park, buzzing with tourists. The lake was full of ducks, and swans. It was beautiful to watch as they swam by with the city bird look of feed me or fuck off.
I also got a chance to give my new camera a test run. Guess should have paid more attention to the manual.
My phone came up handy though. So Steve Jobs 1 Canon 0.
Later I experienced my first London traffic jam due to a burst water pipe on a tube station. Damn you TTC, stop following me around!
Time to turn in for the day. I can hear the Old Ones mumble and grumble. Dark days lay ahead.
